Helen Sue Woodall, 77, of McComb, died Feb. 3, 2007, at her home.
Visitation is 5 to 7 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb and continues at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church until services there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Donald Dick and Dr. Johnny Bley will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit.
Mrs. Woodall was born March 16, 1929, at Johnston Station to J.C. Davis Sr. and Arcille Green Davis.
She worked as a soda jerk for Gillis Drug Store in McComb and was retired. She was a member of First Christian Church in McComb and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a graduate of Johnston Station High School, where she was a member of the basketball team.
Mrs. Woodall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hughlon Woodall; a brother, Charlie Paul Davis; a nephew, Ed Osborne; a sister-in-law, Phylis Davis; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Osborne and Billy Thornton.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Thornton and Betty Osborne, both of McComb; a brother, J.C. Davis Jr. of Lees Summit, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Elaine Davis of Summit; three nieces, Melisa Davis, Pamela Davis Silverman and Debra Osborne; and four nephews, Paul, Chuck, Philip and Jaye Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jim Behlar, Clint Weekley, Tyler Howell, Kevin Wells, Jaye Davis and Stuart Hemphill.
