Visitation is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Osyka Baptist Church, until services there at 4 p.m., with Dr. Milton Kliesch officiating. Burial will be in Osyka cemetery with Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Tylertown. She was the daughter of Burley Nelson Payne and Ida Rushing Payne.
She retired from the banking industry with 33 years service having worked for many years at Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans before returning to Osyka and began working for Magnolia Bank until her retirement. She was a member of Osyka Baptist Church.
She was a Christian lady who loved her Lord, her husband and family and shared many wonderful years with her very special friends. She was an avid reader and loved to sing, especially church hymns and was a great admirer and collector of antiques.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, A.G. Williams Jr.; two brothers, Iley "Crip" Payne and John H. Payne; and four sisters, Marinelle Payne Gwin, Ruth Payne Hodges, Myra Lee Payne Gardner and Maude Alice Payne.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Williams of Osyka; numerous nieces and nephews and many loving and devoted friends.
Pallbearers will be Randy Strickland, Wes Ott, John Paul Reeves III, Graham Clarke, Mike Payne and Bill Gardner. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Ott, Dr. Kenneth Ott Williams and Bernard Williams.
