Jeanne Seale

1937-2007

Visitation is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb, until services there at 11 a.m., with the Rev. James Sadler officiating. Burial will be in East Fork cemetery.

Mrs. Seale was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Liberty to Lloyd T. Newman Sr. and Doris Nunnery Newman.

She was retired from Pan American Life Insurance Co. in Baton Rouge. She was a member of East Fork Baptist Church, where she was an active member. She was an active member of the Sweet Spirit Singers. Her family said she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved to do for others, especially children.

Mrs. Seale was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Newman.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bobby Y. Seale of East Fork; two daughters and one son-in-law, Debbie Seale Gaspard of Baton Rouge and Trish and Larry Hartmann of Blanco, Texas; three brothers, Lloyd T. Newman Jr. and James Lester Newman, both of East Fork, and Robert C. Newman of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Todd, Tim, Taylor and Kendall Hartmann of Blanco, and Laura Gaspard of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hartmann, Tim Hartmann, Bub Newman, Cloy Smith, Bill Sharp and Bryant Barron.

 

Condolences Bryant and Carol Barron - Liberty, MS Bobby and Family .. We know you all will miss Jeanne tremendously, but she is in God's hands now. The Liberty High Class of 1955 will also miss her. She was a sweet, caring , and gentle person. May God bless each of you during this time of grieving.
