Visitation is 5 to 9 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb. Visitation continues at noon Wednesday at Trinity United Church, until services there at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Hugh Lambert officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of Arthur Wallace and Daisy Phillips Wallace.
She was retired with 35 years service at Kellwood Company in Fernwood and was employed by Wal-Mart. She was a member of Trinity United Church in McComb.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Pete Wallace; and two sisters, Georgia Franks and Katie McCaffery.
Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Anita Jean Wallace and Diane Hastings, both of Bogue Chitto, and Beth and Tim Van Norman of McComb; two brothers, Gene Wallace and his wife Dot of Bogue Chitto and Bryant Wallace of Summit; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Grace and C.A. Albrecht of Bogue Chitto, Betty Jo Murphree of Channelview, Texas and Elaine and George Allred of Bogue Chitto; three grandchildren, Deidra Van Norman and Brooke Van Norman, both of McComb, and Donald Hastings of Bogue Chitto; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Wallace Jr., Richard Wallace, Elwin Allred, Tony Allred, Corey Allred and Billy Hastings.
