Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb. Visitation continues at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Summit, until services there at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Larry LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Paulk was born April 19, 1934, in Pike County. He was the son of the late Charles A. Paulk Sr. and the late Annetta Little Paulk.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Summit. He was a retired Fourth District Supervisor for Pike County with 20 years service. He was past president of the Pike County Board of Supervisors and was a former member of the Pike County Economic Development Board.
Mr. Paulk was a U.S. Army veteran. He formerly owned and operated Jafco Liquid Feed Company and was a former employee of Shell Oil Company.
Mr. Paulk was an avid deer hunter and golfer and served as president of the Buck Snort Club in Port Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Jones Paulk of Summit; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Darla Paulk and Gus and Angie Paulk, all of Summit; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Pat Dominick of Daphne, Ala.; two brothers, Charles Paulk of Summit and William Paulk of McComb; two sisters, Frances Reid of Hattiesburg and Mary Lou Redd of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Langham, Patrick Dominick, Matthew Dominick, John David Paulk, Jamie-Lyn Paulk, Alex Paulk, Maggie Paulk, Reece Paulk and Braden Paulk; five great-grandchildren, Blake Dominick, Kaitlynn Dominick, Sawyer Dominick, Julia Langham and Kelsey Dominick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Dominick, Patrick Dominick, John David Paulk, Clyde Paulk, Jimmy Paulk and Chuck Paulk. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Quin Jarvis, Keith Wallace, Derrell Stewart, Mike Smith, Jake Ard, Freddie Wall and Barney Forman.
