Patricia A. “Pat” Disotell, 73, of Magnolia, died May 5, 2008, at
Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
Visitation is 5 to 9 tonight at Guiding Light Pentecostal Church in
Magnolia and 8 a.m. Wednesday until services there at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Terry Ballard and the Rev. Joe Dykes will officiate. Burial
will be in the church cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services in
McComb is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Disotell was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Brookhaven, to James Horace
and Ruby E. Terry Coghlan. She was a member of Park Drive
Pentecostal Church. She retired from Croft Metals after 28 years of
service. Her family said that she loved her family dearly and loved
nature. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Disotell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of
33 years, Sylvester Disotell; three brothers, Donald, Greg and Terry
Coghlan; and two sisters, Peggy Jo Coghlan and Sue Perry.
Survivors include two sons, Larry W. Disotell and wife Sherrie, and
Ivory “Bubba” Disotell and wife Merle, all of Magnolia; three
brothers, James H. Coghlan Jr. and wife Pat, and John Mark Coghlan
and wife Cindy, all of Zachary, La., and Barry Coghlan and wife
Bernadette of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Gloria Wilkerson and husband
Bob of Orlando, Fla., and Jimmy Gay Thrash and husband George of
Purvis; nine grandchildren, Soja Disotell, Larry Disotell Jr., Tracy
Gill and husband Gary, Teresa Wilkerson and husband Chris, Sonia
Disotell and her fiancé Claude Cox, Becky Ball and husband Joe,
Sandy Johnson and husband Billy, Jessica Phelps and husband Earnest
and Byron Delaney and wife Danielle; eleven great-grandchildren,
Chelsea Gill, Austin Wilkerson, Jacob Wilkerson, Alyssa DeSalvo,
Alex DeSalvo, Marlana Johnson, Karlie Johnson, Caleb Phelps, Eli
Phelps, Ali Delaney and Gracie Delaney; numerous nieces and nephews
and special friends, Charles and Sharon Hughes of Magnolia.
Pallbearers will be Byron DeLaney, Earnest Phelps, David Perry,
Gerald Perry, Ronnie Perry, John Disotell.
Honorary pallbearer is Charles Hughes.
