Ethel Broadnax Myers, 79, of McComb, and a resident of Picayune from 1972 until 2001, died Jan. 14, 2007, at the Cardiovascular Institute of Mississippi in McComb.
Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb and 1 p.m. Tuesday until services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Dr. David Millican and the Rev. Nathan Firmin will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Mausoleum.
Mrs. Myers was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Milledgeville, Ga., to Robert and Nora Broadnax.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Good Year Baptist Church in Picayune. She was a graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Mrs. Myers is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, John T. Myers; and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Cindy Myers of McComb; one daughter and son-in-law, Karol and Keith Fountain of Tylertown; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ed Webb, Eric Jordan, Scott Jerome, Gary Beard, Gary Green and Kirby Fleming.
