Robert L. Lanham Jr.

1972-2008

Robert L. Lanham Jr., 35, of Amite County, died March 12, 2008, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb and noon Wednesday until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Rick Kennedy will officiate. Burial will be in Pike Memorial Cemetery in McComb.

Mr. Lanham was born Oct. 17, 1972, in Charleston, W.Va. He was the son of Robert Lanham Sr. and JoAnn Eppolito Jarvis.

He was a construction worker and a member of J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was well loved by his family. “He was a good son and a good man,” the family said.

Mr. Lanham was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Angie Eppolito; and his paternal grandfather, Jack Lanham.

Survivors include his father, Robert Lanham Sr. of McComb; his mother JoAnn Jarvis and her husband Ernie of Cleveland, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Glada Lanham of Clay, WVa.; his stepmother, Janie Lanham of McComb; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to favorite charities.

 

Condolences Shelly & Tasha -  Procious, WV A few words here on this online condolences book cannot even begin to summarize or explain how sorry we are for the pain you all are feeling.  We loved Robbie very much; he was a brother and a son to us. Our hearts are hurting right now for his loss. We have talked about him a lot and remember so many good things.  Most of all we remember his great sense of humor and how he could always make us laugh.  We don't really know what to say except we are sorry and that we are thinking of you all right now.  May you all find the peace and solace to get through this time.  Please know that we are grieving for him too.     Prayers to all, Shelly & Tasha
