Billie Jean Kuyrkendall,75, of McComb, died March 25, 2008, at
Camellia Estates in McComb. Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Jones
Family Funeral Services in McComb and 9 a.m. Thursday until services
there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jim Dalton will officiate. Burial will be
in Pike Memorial Cemetery in McComb.
Mrs. Kuyrkendall was born February 3, 1933, in McComb, to Clarence
and Grace Scroggins McCaskell.
She was a homemaker, a member of First Assembly of God Church in
McComb and Class of 1953 graduate of Fernwood High School. She was
well loved by her family. She was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. She also loved to travel with her husband. She will be
sadly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Kuyrkendall was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers,
Odie McCaskell and Clarence McCaskell; and a sister, Grace Love.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert Lamar Kuyrkendall
of McComb; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Kristi
Kuyrkendall of Summit, and James and Becky Kuyrkendall of McComb;
four grandchildren, Britni Kuyrkendall and Abby Kuyrkendall, both of
Summit, and Jamie Kuyrkendall and wife Marissa, and Kelli
Kuyrkendall, all of McComb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are James Kuyrkendall, Jean A. Kuyrkendall, Carl
Kuyrkendall, Greg McCaskell, Brian McCaskell, Shelby Cutrer, Randall
Love and Wendell Cothern.
