Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb, and 9 a.m. Tuesday until services there at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Doug Gilford officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was born Aug. 27, 1942, in Smithdale. She was the daughter of the late James R. Jaycox and Glyda B. Gill Jaycox.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Slidell where she was an active member until her health began to fail.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Edmond B. Moore of Slidell; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Judy Moore of Albany, La.; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah “Debbie” Hayes and Larry of Slidell; one stepson, Roger Dale Moore of Gilbert, La.; one brother and sister-in-law, James Lee “Buddy” Jaycox and Angela “Angie” Jaycox of Gretna, La.; five grandchildren, Aaron Hayes, Matthew Hayes, David Morehead, Kasey Hart and Danny Ray Moore; one great-granddaughter, Madison Hart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Hayes, David Morehead, James Jaycox, Roger Dale Moore and Danny Ray Moore.
