Mary Ann Dunaway, 64, of McComb, died Jan. 9, 2007, at her
residence.
Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in
McComb and continues Friday at Central Baptist Church in McComb from
1 p.m. until services there at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tracey Hipps
officiating.
Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
Mrs. Dunaway was born Oct. 7, 1942, in Pike County, to Fred and
Lucille Hux Busby.
She was retired from Packard Electric and worked as a certified
nurse’s aide at McComb Extended Care.
She attended Southwest Mississippi Community College, where she was
a majorette.
Her family said she was a special lady, and most of all, was a
special mom to her daughter, Ramona.
Mrs. Dunaway was preceded in death by her parents and her husband,
Wilkie R. Dunaway.
Survivors include four daughters and one son-in-law, Renee and Don
Lee of Gulfport, Rachel Byrd of Baton Rouge, Rhonda Dunaway of
Biloxi and Ramona Dunaway of McComb; one sister, Jimmie Sirchia of
Baton Rouge; one brother-in-law, Gary Dunaway of Hattiesburg; two
grandsons, Jeff McClendon of Gulfport and Kevin McClendon of Denham
Springs, La.; three step grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren
and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
