Visitation is Saturday at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Brent Parker officiating. Burial will be in East Fork Cemetery.
Mrs. Cook was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Gillsburg. She was the daughter of Louis and Eva Travis Welch.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Diane Harrell; and one brother, L.J. Welch.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, B.L. “Bunny” Cook of East Fork; five children, Alney Cook and Tommy Cook and wife Patrice, all of East Fork, Doug Porter and wife Jackie of Denham Springs, La., Darrell Cook and wife Penny of Kentwood, La., and Debbie J. Cook of Columbia, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Virginia Cook of the Glading community; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cook, Ashley Simmons, John Paul Cook, David Cook, Anthony Wall, Jeremy Porter and Jordan Cook.
