Estelle Stephens Betz, 85, of McComb, died Feb. 14, 2007, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb, and 10 a.m. Saturday until services there at 1 p.m. Bro. Rick Kennedy and Bro. Hugh Lambert will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mrs. Betz was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Pike County to James S. Stephens and Margaret Griffen Stephens.
She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was a longtime faithful member of East McComb Baptist Church.
Mrs. Betz was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Charles David Betz Sr.; one granddaughter, Susan Stringer; one son-in-law, Jim Lang; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles David Betz Jr. and Beverly of Zachary, La.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Katherine Lang of McComb, and Sue Conerly and Jeff of Surf City, N.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl Stephens and Lorena of McComb; eight grandchildren, Sarah Betz and Bill Betz, both of Zachary, Jim Betz and wife Misty of Baton Rouge, John David Rogers of Buford, Ga., Samantha LeMaire and husband Bill, Stephanie Mays and husband Warren, and Don A. Rogers, all of McComb, and Stephen Conerly of Angier, N.C.; and four great grandchildren, August Mays, Sidney Mays, Janye Rogers, and Matthew Stringer.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Betz‘ grandsons.
