Visitation is 5 p.m. today at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jayess and continues until services there at 3 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ray Bowling and the Rev. Malcom Dykes will officiate. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in Jayess. Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Price was born March 19, 1914.
She was a homemaker and worked at Kellwood Manufacturer in Monticello. She was a longtime faithful member of Calvary UPC.
Ms. Price was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Clayton B. Alexander and Felix Price; three sisters; two brothers; one son, Jack Alexander; one son-in-law, Hugh D. Thornhill; and one daughter-in-law, Darlene Alexander.
Survivors include two sons, Randolph Alexander and wife Linda, and Jesse Alexander and wife Jean, all of Jayess; three daughters, Bennie L. Powell and husband Charles Ray, Willie Ruth Thornhill, and Jo Thornhill and husband Carroll, all of Jayess; one daughter-in-law, Jeanette Alexander; one sister, Mavis McCullen of Wetumpka, Ala.; 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Charlie Powell, Ronnie Thornhill, Randy Alexander, Phillip Alexander, Harold Thornhill, and Brian Alexander. Honorary pallbearers are Richie Powell and Billy J. Alexander.
